VCE biology takes you from the smallest cell in your body to the entire organism, then zooms out even more by exploring the interplay between different species over the millenia.

Traditionally, students taking VCE Biology struggle with the large volume of content, and the seemingly endless list of definitions that must be memorised. Furthermore, the marking scheme requires meeting all the key terms, while keeping your answer short and concise.

At VCEpro, we teach Biology concepts in a relevant, understandable way, while also rigourosly training students to answer the generic questions, as well as the tougher, separator questions which will allow them to attain higher scores. Our goal is not to just create students who rote-memorise theory and sample answers, but to encourage higher-level thinking in biological applications in year 12 and beyond. 

This proved most useful during the 2024 exam, which has markedly different than the first two years of the 2022 study design. The 2024 exam showed that VCAA places a high value on critical thinking and experimental and applicative understanding, which our classes emphasise.
